“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us).

Spotlight on Missions
From Don & Lisa Thatcher
“We are making progress on getting things ready at our new location for our church. There is one minor hold up though…You are limited with what you can do with no electricity. The power had gotten turned off between the time we had looked at unit and then took up the lease on the unit. The previous tenet failed to pay the bill so the power got shut off. Lord willing it will be back on Friday. It has been a bit frustrating for a week and a half. Thanksgiving was a day of great blessing as well gave God praise as one of our supporting churches decided to send funds for tables and chairs. The supper blessing was that the gift they are sending covers the bill for those items with $50 left over! Praise the Lord! The remainder expenses will be for replacing the ceiling tiles and doing some minor fixes on the walls, a checkup by the electrician and putting down some ceramic tiles which were never put in for the second bathroom. The other big item is a pulpit. I am guessing that this all will come to about $3000, and that should have things pretty well in order. We had a great work day on Saturday with many of our folks coming out to clean out the junk and tear off the old wall paper. Today, I taped and filled the joints on the drywall that were never done. Continue to keep our family, ministry and these needs before the Lord.”
