“2012 – Treasuring the Beauty and Majesty of Christ”

“Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders.  Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”  Eph. 5:21  Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.  Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

Spotlight on Missions

From Paul and Courtney Gille

“Let me give you an idea of what the Lord has been doing with your investment into our ministry.  In April Paul spoke in two different Student Ministry meetings, continued his weekly discipleship with a man who is excited to grow in his faith, had a three day staff meeting in Goshen, Indiana, and shared the ministry with two Youth Pastors who both plan to begin using the Word of Life material this fall.  We also traveled to our house in Cincinnati to prepare it for the young missionary couple moving in (it is finally rented – Praise the Lord), attended a Word of Life Bible Institute Alumni meeting in Grand Rapids, attended a piano recital for a girl Courtney has been helping grow in the Lord, and had a yard sale!  But the biggest part of the month was preparing for and running Regional Teens Involved April 13 and 14.  285 teens came to Canton MI for an event that helps them discover and more effectively use their gifts and abilities to serve the Lord.  It was a blessing to see the Lord use this event to open the heart of a child who accepted Him as Savior.  Not only was it an encouragement to us, but also to the student whose Storytelling was used by the Lord.”
