Spotlight on Missions

From the Moore’s

“Ebola seems to be the word in the news, on Facebook, Twitter and everywhere else. It’s also on the hearts and minds of every missionary serving in Africa. While no Ebola virus has been found in Togo, it’s something one must be prepared for. An airplane carrying an Ebola infected man made a routine stop Togo, letting passengers off before going on to Nigeria. This passenger later died in Nigeria. We don’t know if anyone who got off the plane in Togo was infected with that virus. Please remember our teammates in Togo and all over Africa as they face dangers every day. We may not know what the future holds, but we do know WHO holds the future! We take Davis back to Moody Bible on the 13th of August so he can begin training for Mu Kappa. He will be the spiritual leader on this board as they welcome in new students from all over the world; many of which are MK’s. It’s a great opportunity to lead Bible studies and offer counseling where needed. Classes will begin on August 25. Austin has been working weekends cleaning cottages to save money for college next year. That’s right, our baby will be a senior this year! It seems hard to believe, but we are excited to see where God will lead him.”
