Spotlight on Missions
From the Thatchers in Ireland
“We have had some great opportunities in August and September to distribute our summer Gospel packets at some of the festivals that were going on in Waterford. It was a great time to be able to share and talk with folks about Jesus Christ. I enjoyed the times out with Kaleb who went with me on most occasions as well as going with me on Saturday. He did a fabulous job at telling folks that the gift told about the city of Waterford, but that it also told about a greater city that was built by God. The past few weeks we have been working through our village of Dunmore East. This past Saturday Kaleb and I were able to share some Scripture with an older lady who gave us some time at her door. As I told her that we were with the Baptist church sharing the Gospel today, she told me that was nice as there are many roads that lead to God. I shared with her that it is not religion or our churches that get us to Heaven but that Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.”
