Spotlight on Missions

From Tim & Rebekah Cornish

“The last busy season involved finishing up the visual aids for this summer’s Vacation Bible Schools and teaching frequently.  Twenty-nine volunteers helped prepare over 4,500 items that are part of this year’s VBS series, “The Great Escape”.  One new visual depicts Christ’s Resurrection and has an earthquake effect built into the base.  As we show the power that violently shook the ground that Resurrection morning, we will also be explaining the even greater power of our Lord to lay down his life for us on the cross, to take it back again (John 10:17-18), and to give eternal life to all who come to Him in faith (John 11:25-27).  Pray that God will both ignite and strengthen the faith of many.  In my teaching ministry I was busy with mid-week kid’s lessons, pulpit supply, Sunday School and RTBC’s.A church elder board recently wrote: “We appreciate the insight that you shared and the challenges you provided as you spoke to us and our congregation…your willingness to lead and share God’s Word was invaluable to our church family”. Your prayers and support enable me to continue to minister both to children and churches.
