“The Supreme Court will hear arguments this month about the HHS mandate case regarding for-profit employers.  The mandate compels all employers except churches to provide health insurance plans for their employees that cover contraceptives, female sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs.  Please read the articles in this month’s newsletter about how the mandate violates the protection of religious freedom guaranteed in our Constitution, and pray for our leaders and government officials.  There is a daily prayer guide you can use at http://bit.ly/praywithadf, provided by the Alliance Defending Freedom.” – Samaritan Ministries

Two Recommended Books To Help Us Apply the Grace Lessons We Are Hearing:

Sharon Bowman heard Gracia Burnham speak recently and was blessed in how deeply she has (and is) depending upon the Lord’s grace to sustain her.  Sharon is reading her book To Fly Again and recommends it highly.  She read Amy Baker’s new book Picture Perfect – When Life Doesn’t Line Up this winter.  Wayne Mack comments: “In this book Amy has given Biblical insight into a form of legalism, self-righteousness and a performance based way of living that turns people away from living in the richness of God’s grace through Jesus Christ.”
